OYO Brings European Holiday Home Brand DanCenter to India, Launches First Villas in Goa

New Delhi, IndiaOYO, led by Ritesh Agarwal, has launched its European holiday home brand, DanCenter, in India. This marks a significant step in OYO’s strategy to tap into the growing demand for premium vacation rentals in the country.

DanCenter, a Denmark-based vacation rental brand with a legacy since 1957, has made its Indian debut in Siolim, North Goa.

With 12,000 properties across Denmark, Sweden, Norway, and Germany, DanCenter is now catering to Indian travelers seeking luxurious and well-managed villas. OYO is introducing only newly constructed properties to maintain a premium experience.

The Indian alternative accommodation market is expected to grow from INR 150 billion ($1.8 billion) in fiscal 2024 to INR 350 billion ($4.2 billion) by fiscal 2027, fueled by the rising demand for high-quality, personalized travel experiences beyond hotels.

OYO is also in advanced discussions with the Provident Group to launch premium serviced apartments in Goa, further strengthening its luxury hospitality footprint in India.

Aditya Sharma, Head of Luxury Business at OYO’s parent company Oravel Stays, highlighted the shift in Indian travelers’ preferences, stating, “They want more than just accommodation; they seek a luxurious, well-managed experience.”
