Nikesh Arora is an Indian-origin CEO of tech company Palo Alto Networks and the second highest-paid CEO in the US.
Nikesh Arora, born in Ghaziabad, UP on February 9, 1968, graduated in Electrical Engineering from IIT (BHU) Varanasi in 1989.
After completing his undergraduate studies, he pursued an MBA at Northeastern University in Boston, Massachusetts.
Arora began his professional career in 1992 at Fidelity Investments, where he held roles in finance and technology management.
At Google from 2004, Arora held VP and CBO roles. Joined SoftBank in 2014 as Vice Chairman and CEO of SoftBank Internet and Media Inc.
However, in June 2016, Arora unexpectedly resigned from his roles at SoftBank, later joining Palo Alto Networks in 2018 as CEO and Chairman.
Nikesh Arora, the second highest-paid CEO, earned $151.43 million, surpassing tech giants like Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg and Google CEO Sundar Pichai.
